Getting Here

Getting here is easier than you think!

The Abaco chain of islands is located approximately 175 miles east of Florida (approx. 1 hour flight) and 100 miles north of Nassau (approx. 35 minute flight). The main airport on Great Abaco is Marsh Harbour International Airport. Major airlines connect the Bahamas with the United States as well as Canada, Europe, Great Britain and the Caribbean.  Flights to Marsh Harbour are available from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, New Smyrna Beach and Nassau in the Bahamas.

After you arrive at the Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH), a short taxi ride will bring you directly to Albury’s Ferry which will continue on to Hope Town. Be sure to tell your taxi driver that you are going to Hope Town. They leave approximately every hour and stop running for the day around 7:15(Ferry Schedule). If your flight happens to arrive late and you miss the last ferry, you can always charter a private ferry .
